Jimmy Kouba Racing Ceases
Operations
We are retiring from
team ownership. We have decided to
go out of business, selling all of the race
operation. I am not retiring from
driving, but do not plan to actively pursue
a ride until issues related to the race
business are resolved.
Jamie and I are disappointed
to not try the IRA/Outlaw circuit this season.
We were confident that it was a good opportunity
and that we would have been successful.
We believe the IRA is a great operation
and are truly disappointed we can't try
our hand this year.
All race team equipment
will be liquidated. A complete list of parts
and equipment will be available soon in
the Used Parts section of our website.
The good news is that
my brother Joe Kouba has partnered with
Jerry Richert Jr. Jerry is a seasoned veteran
with multiple championships. He has over
40 wins to his credit including many at
Knoxville, as well as a WoO victory. Jerry
will drive the #55 410 this year. Additionally
the team will still campaign the #55 360,
driven by Joe; the #63 360, driven by Jerry;
and the #74 360, driven by Joseph Kouba.
The 410 races are primarily with the IRA
but also include WoO events and other specials.
The 360s will compete with WISSOTA and at
Jackson, Minnesota. This team has over 60
years of combined experience. They will
be a formidable force in Midwestern sprint
car racing.
Thank you for your support!
Jimmy
